This is a 2 days introductory course to Power BI, Data Analysis & Data Visualization. It does not require any prior knowledge of data analysis, mathematics or statistics. At the end of this course, participants would have learnt how to:
- Use the appropriate approach to summarize data
- Analyze data without writing formulas
- Select the appropriate Power BI visuals to communicate findings
- Build highly interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI Desktop
- Publish Reports to Power BI online service
- Build mobile lay outs for Power BI reports
This is a 4 days course on the essentials of Power BI, Data Preparation, Data Analysis and Data Visualization covering every concept from basic to more advanced. Participants should have prior exposure to reporting or attended our intro to Data Analysis & Visualization with Power BI course. At the end of this course, participants would have learnt how to:
- Build efficient Power BI data models
- Transform data with Power Query
- Build highly interactive reports
- Write DAX Formulas (Data Analysis expressions)
- Publish reports to Power BI Service
- Share reports and Dashboards
- Set up automatic data refresh
This is a 3 days course on the essentials of Business Intelligence in Microsoft Excel, using Power Pivot and Power Query. This course teaches participants techniques to analyzing datasets larger than Excel can ordinarily handle. Participants should have prior exposure to reporting and using excel Pivot Tables. At the end of this course, participants would have learnt how to:
- Pull data to excel from over 100 different data sources
- Work beyond Excel’s row limit of 1.48million rows
- Build efficient Power Pivot data models
- Transform data with Power Query
- Build highly interactive reports
- Publish reports to Power BI Service
- Set up automatic data refresh
